Unique Boat Experience in Thai Waterways since 2010
We had special guests in the month of August, a group of 9, Facebook team from the US (Silicon Valley headquarters office). They enjoyed a sunset cruise on the Chao praya river & Bangkok canals with us. Please come back again!.
Sacha, Tob and their children visited this warm and vibrant Baan Unrak Children's Home in Sangkhlaburi Province, on the border of Thailand and Myanmar. Occasionally, Pandan's proceeds were donated to this orphanage, home of over 130 orphaned children, run by Didi Donata.
Sangkhlaburi has it's own charm; multi-ethnic people wearing colorful costumes, the longest wooden bridge in Thailand, a beautiful yet melancholic Vijaralongkorn Lake (A dam was created over 30 years ago, which sunken many villages). Baan Unrak Chidren's Home is not an ordinary orphanage. They presented us a special performance which based on yogic movements (It's so good that they were invited to perform in Malaysia). They also run a homemade bakery in town, as well as a weaving room to produce fabric products, in order to provide single mothers with work. We joined them for a delicious vegetarian dinner and were able to organize a small Origami Class for the children. They open to accept volunteers. If you are interested, please contact us or Didi Donata at the Baan Unrak Chidlren's Home (http://www.baanunrak.org/).

This year, we participated in the Marine Department sponsored annual pier cleaning day. From our own Pandan Teams of Khun Tom and Khun Nui were cleaning the pier for up to four hours. This event see more than 500 people showing up to help, most wearing yellow shirt in honor of the King.
