If you can spare a day (to be exact, 6.5 hours), we’ll take you away from Bangkok’s hustle and bustle to experience the charm of canal-side living.
Hop aboard our small teak boat and journey through vibrant waterways, where you’ll witness local communities in eclectic and colorful scenery. Canal-side offers a truly relaxed and laid-back atmosphere—truly Thai!
(Please note: Our tour only explores the canals, so we are not going out to the Chap Phraya River.)

Itinerary
8:30am Meet and greet with our local licensed guide at a Yellow Bridge underneath the BTS Wutthakat Station (Skytrain Silom Line). Get on our boat to start the journey.
Our activities are:
Browse a local morning market and historical site from the Ayutthaya period in the "Banyan Tree Temple," with a temple roof structure covered with colorful ceramic tiles
Visit Wat Paknam (”Mouth of the Canal Temple” )to see an enormous Buddha, one-ton solid gold statues, a beautiful crystal pagoda, and a vast skyline view of the old capital, Thonburi.
Visit Wat Koh (“Island Temple”) to see a mummy of a famous monk
Lunch stop at an organic herb garden
Visit an orchid and nursery in lush greenery
Visit the Artist's House* - 250-year-old community, currently going through revitalization by locals
3:00pm Return to the BTS Wutthakat Station or BTS Krung Thonburi Station by a combination of Songtaew/Taxi

It will be small boat ride throughout the tour.
The order of the stops may change, depending on the water, weather conditions, and time available.
We are going to some temples. It is a good idea for ladies to cover your shoulders and avoid mini-skirts/shorts. (scarf is OK to use it to cover). For male guests, knee-length shorts are recommended.
You will be on and off a boat, so active wear and non-slippery shoes/sandals are recommended.
Sunblock, hat, and/or umbrella are recommended.
